The TITAN Difference

Why Buy Poynting Through TITAN IoT

MIMO-Matched to Your Router

We stock the routers too — Robustel, Teltonika and more — so every Poynting antenna is specified to the ports, bands and connectors of the hardware it feeds.

Irish Stock & Support

Supplied, supported and warrantied from Galway — with someone at the end of the phone who has installed these antennas on Irish sites.

Engineering Behind the Sale

Our antenna design service sits behind every quote — band planning, cable-loss budgets and mounting advice come as standard, not as extras.

Genuine, Current Product

Official-channel stock means current versions, full manufacturer warranty and honest advice when a model is end-of-life — we’ll steer you to its successor.

The ePoynt Idea

Enclosure Antennas — the Router Lives Inside

Poynting’s signature move: the antenna is the enclosure. Mount your router inside it, at height, and the coax between radio and antenna disappears — and with it, the cable loss. Perfect for site CCTV, cellular WiFi access points and remote-site connectivity.

Mining & Tunnelling

Underground Connectivity — Circular Polarisation

Radio behaves badly underground: signals bounce off rock and machinery, and the reflections cancel each other. Poynting’s answer is the HELI series — circular polarised helical antennas whose corkscrew wave survives those reflections, keeping WiFi and telemetry alive along tunnels where ordinary antennas fade.

The range spans sizes and gains for different tunnel profiles, with IP65 vandal-resistant housings and intrinsically-safe coated variants, backed by the rugged OMNI-700 “Rhyno” WiFi omnis (IP69K, IK10) for machinery and plant. Used in mines internationally — and just as relevant to Irish tunnelling, utilities and underground works.

Why Poynting

Wideband That Holds Up Across the Whole Band

Two antennas can carry the same headline dBi and perform completely differently, because the spec-sheet number is a peak — not a promise across the band. Poynting’s patented wideband designs are engineered for balanced gain across the frequencies networks actually use, which is why they keep working when the operator refarms a band or the site sits at the coverage edge.

That engineering-first culture — founded on electromagnetics research in 1990, protected by 50+ patents and registered designs, manufactured under ISO 9001 — is what TITAN puts behind every Irish deployment.

Talk Antennas With Us

What that means on site

Refarm-proof — balanced gain across bands, not tuned to one frequency that may move

Edge performance — designed for the weak-signal sites where antennas earn their keep

Built for abuse — IP68/IP69K, IK-rated, salt-water and UV-stable housings as standard

Honest lifecycle — clear EOL policy; we always quote the current version, never old stock

FAQ

Poynting Questions, Answered

Is TITAN an official Poynting distributor?

Yes — TITAN IoT is an official Poynting distributor for Ireland, buying directly from Poynting. That means genuine, current-version product with full manufacturer warranty, access to the complete catalogue rather than a reseller subset, and factory-backed technical support behind every order.

Which Poynting antenna is best for rural broadband in Ireland?

Start with the XPOL-1 omni — no aiming, strong MIMO performance, and it fixes most marginal rural sites. If the site is at the true signal edge and the serving mast is fixed, step up to the directional XPOL-2 5G for maximum gain, or the EPNT-2 enclosure to eliminate cable loss too. Send us your Eircode and router model and we’ll recommend the right one.

What is an ePoynt (EPNT) enclosure antenna?

An EPNT is an antenna with a router bay inside the housing. Instead of running coax from a mast-top antenna down to a router — and losing signal every metre — the router mounts inside the antenna at height, so there’s effectively no cable loss at all. It’s the strongest architecture for site CCTV poles, cellular WiFi access points and remote-site links.

Do Poynting make marine antennas?

Marine is one of Poynting’s strongest specialities. The range runs from the OMNI-493 and Narwhal mast omnis through the SWIRL array to the WaveHunter — a 24×24 multi-MIMO array with router space inside — all with salt-water-protected radomes, IP67/IP68 ratings and standard 1-inch marine mounts. Near the Irish coast, a good marine antenna often makes 4G/5G a genuine alternative to satellite.

Why circular polarisation in tunnels and mines?

Underground, radio signals reflect constantly off rock and machinery, and reflected waves arrive flipped — cancelling a normal antenna’s signal. A circular polarised antenna like Poynting’s HELI series transmits a rotating wave that tolerates those reflections, so WiFi and telemetry stay usable far deeper along a tunnel. It’s why the HELI range is used in mining operations internationally.

Can TITAN match a Poynting antenna to my router?

Yes — that’s the point of buying both from one place. Tell us the router model and we’ll match MIMO count to its ports, bands to your operator, connectors and cable to your install, and mounting to the site. We stock the routers and the antennas, so the pair arrives ready to work together.
