Key Differentiator

One Vendor, One Stack: Router, Switch & RMS.

Most sites bolt together a router from one maker, a switch from another and management from a third. Teltonika’s range covers the whole site network — cellular router, managed PoE switch, access point — all administered together in RMS, Teltonika’s Remote Management System.

RMS licensing is credit-based, so you pay for management only on the devices that need it — and TITAN supplies the credits, pre-enrols your fleet and helps you run it. One vendor, one dashboard, one Irish contact.

A Complete Managed Site

RUT or RUTX router carries the site over 4G or 5G

TSW managed switch distributes it — PoE+ powers cameras & APs

RMS manages the lot — remote access, monitoring, firmware, alerts

A matched Poynting or Panorama antenna decides the signal

TITAN stages it all in Galway — arrive, power, online

The Antenna Decides Your Signal

Every Teltonika unit we ship goes out with the antenna its install deserves — these are the pairings we fit most:

Cabinets, chargers & machines (RUT241 · RUT951):  Poynting PUCK-2 — low-profile 2×2 MIMO, one-hole mount, escapes the metal enclosure

Rural & fixed sites (RUT956):  Poynting XPOL-1-5G — cross-polarised omni that pulls signal at the coverage edge

5G installs (RUTX50):  Panorama 4×4 MIMO 5G — 4×4 to match the router’s antenna ports; a 2×2 would throttle your 5G

FAQ

Teltonika Questions, Answered

What is a Teltonika router?

A Teltonika router is an industrial cellular router built in Europe by Teltonika Networks — compact, ruggedised units running RutOS that connect equipment and sites over 4G or 5G with automatic failover, VPN support and remote management through the RMS platform. The range spans compact units like the RUT241 to dual-SIM 5G flagships like the RUTX50. TITAN IoT supplies the Teltonika range in Ireland staged from Galway, with matched antennas, SIMs and Irish support.

What is Teltonika RMS and what does it cost?

RMS is Teltonika’s cloud Remote Management System — monitoring, remote access, configuration and firmware updates for Teltonika routers, switches and gateways on one dashboard. Licensing is credit-based rather than a flat subscription, so you pay for management only on the devices and months that need it. We supply RMS credits, pre-enrol your devices and help you run the fleet.

Which Teltonika router should I choose?

As a rule of thumb: RUT241 for compact single-SIM jobs like chargers, kiosks and machines; RUT951 where dual-SIM resilience and more Ethernet ports matter; RUT956 where serial (RS232/RS485), GNSS or I/O are needed — solar, SCADA, energy; RUTX50 where 5G bandwidth or Gigabit ports are required. Tell us the application and we’ll spec it — including the antenna, which matters as much as the router.

Does Teltonika make network switches?

Yes — the TSW range covers unmanaged and managed industrial switches, including PoE+ models that power cameras and access points directly over the network cable. Managed TSW switches administer alongside Teltonika routers in RMS, which is what makes a full Teltonika site network practical: one vendor, one management platform.

Do I need a static-IP SIM with a Teltonika router?

Usually not. RMS provides remote access to the router and the devices behind it on ordinary SIMs, and our SmartNetVPN service offers the same for mixed fleets — the router connects outward, so no public static IP is exposed. We supply multi-network IoT SIMs, or stage your operator’s SIMs, tested before dispatch.
