The Poynting OMNI-510 is a flat, low-profile antenna for smart meters, meter boxes and small enclosures where nothing can stick out. It mounts on the top or side of the box with the adhesive backing or two screws, and covers 698–960 and 1710–2700 MHz, the Irish 4G bands used by LTE-M, NB-IoT and Cat 1 metering modems, at 2 dBi.
The housing is IP68 (connector excluded), fire resistant and rated for −40 °C to +75 °C. It comes with a 1 m RTK-031 cable and SMA male connector.
It pairs with the DASH-1 as our two meter-box antennas: the DASH-1 has a right-angle SMA and IP67; the OMNI-510 a straight SMA and IP68.
