The Poynting PUCK is a compact outdoor antenna for routers in cabinets, on machines, meters and small vehicles. One low-profile IP69K housing carries one or two 5G/4G elements, with Wi-Fi and GPS on the higher models, so a single mount covers everything a small router needs.
Cellular elements cover 617–6000 MHz, every Irish 4G and 5G band including 3.6 GHz, with up to 6.5 dBi gain on the 2×2 models. The PUCK-5 adds two Wi-Fi elements covering 2.4 GHz and 5–7.2 GHz (Wi-Fi 6E and 7) at 6 dBi and an active GPS/GLONASS element at 21 dBi. The housing is E-Mark approved for road vehicles. For a bigger roof, the MIMO-3 or MIMO-4 gives more element spacing and better performance.
Every element has its own 2 m cable with an SMA male connector, with RP-SMA adaptors for Wi-Fi ports. Mounting is by spigot, adhesive surface pad, magnet, wall or pole bracket. Black and white versions are available.

Which model?
- PUCK-1: one cellular element. For single-port modems and LTE-M or NB-IoT sensors.
- PUCK-2: two cellular elements. The standard choice for 2×2 routers in cabinets and on machines, such as the Advantech ICR-2734A02 or Robustel R1510.
- PUCK-3: one cellular, one Wi-Fi and GPS. For single-port trackers and telematics units.
- PUCK-4: two cellular elements plus GPS. For 2×2 fleet routers that need tracking without passenger Wi-Fi.
- PUCK-5: two cellular, two Wi-Fi and GPS. Matches the Teltonika RUT956 port for port.

Does the Poynting PUCK-2 work on Irish networks?
Yes. The PUCK-2 covers 617–6000 MHz, which includes every frequency band used by Vodafone, Three and Eir in Ireland across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G. It is suitable for all cellular IoT, M2M and industrial router applications on Irish networks.
Will the PUCK-2 work with my Teltonika router?
Yes. The PUCK-2 is fully compatible with Teltonika routers including the RUT241, RUT360, RUT950, RUT955, RUTX11 and RUTX50. It connects via standard SMA Male connectors which match the antenna ports on all current Teltonika models. It is particularly effective as a cabinet or enclosure replacement for the stock dipole antennas supplied with Teltonika routers — in metal enclosures where the stock antenna cannot be freely positioned, the PUCK-2 mounts externally and provides a significant improvement in signal quality. Can I use the PUCK-2 inside a metal cabinet?
Not directly — metal enclosures block RF signals. The correct approach is to mount the PUCK-2 on the outside of the cabinet, or on a non-metallic panel or lid section, and run the cable through a weatherproof gland to the router inside. What mounting options does the PUCK-2 support?
The PUCK-2 supports two mounting methods: an adhesive pad for fast installation on flat surfaces, and screw through-hole mounting for permanent fixing to cabinet lids, enclosures and vehicle bodywork. The 88mm diameter fits most standard enclosure surfaces without modification.
