Real Pulse — Your Building, Digitised
Real Pulse is the building management platform by IoT Factory, delivered in Ireland by TITAN. Not a blank canvas — a finished platform built for buildings, with the dashboards, alerts and reports for energy, air quality, water and occupancy already designed. Wireless sensors go on your meters, boards, rooms and pipes; your building shows up on one screen, telling you where it wastes, where it leaks and how it’s actually used.

One dashboard for the whole building — energy, air, water and occupancy
What Is a Building Management Platform?
A building management platform is the software layer that turns a building’s sensors into decisions — live dashboards of energy, air quality, water and occupancy, alerts when something drifts, and the reports owners, facility managers and auditors actually need. Traditional building management systems (BMS) are wired, expensive and usually confined to new builds or major refits. A modern wireless platform like Real Pulse retrofits into any building — old or new — using battery-powered sensors on existing meters, boards and rooms, with no cabling and no property modifications.
The difference from a generic IoT platform: nothing to design. The building dashboards, the alert logic and the reports come ready-made — the platform already knows what a building needs to say.
Everything a Building Should Be Telling You
Real Pulse runs ready-made applications on one dashboard. Most buildings start with energy and switch the others on as they earn their place — same sensors network, same gateways, same login.
Energy
Live electricity, gas and heating consumption — whole building, per floor, per circuit. Clamps on distribution boards and readers on existing supply meters show where the money goes and alert when usage breaks targets. IoT Factory reports savings of up to 30% across platform deployments.
Indoor Air Quality
CO₂, temperature, humidity and pollutants per room — proof of a healthy building, evidence for ventilation and heating decisions, and the data behind bringing an older building up to modern standards.
Water & Leaks
Water damage is the number-one cause of building insurance claims. Meter reading catches creeping consumption; leak sensors under risers, tanks and plant alarm on first contact with water.
Occupancy & Space
Desk and room sensors show how the building is actually used — which spaces earn their floor area, when empty zones are being heated, what the real working week looks like.
Built on IoT Factory. Finished for Buildings.
Real Pulse is developed by IoT Factory, building open IoT platforms since 2016. The IoT Factory engine does the heavy lifting — device management for 700+ sensor types over LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi and cellular, data processing, an open API. Real Pulse is the building layer on top: dashboards, alerts and reports designed specifically for how buildings are owned, managed and audited.
That means you get the openness of a platform — any sensor, any vendor, no lock-in — without the blank-canvas problem of designing your own dashboards. For buildings, Real Pulse is the answer. For monitoring jobs that aren’t buildings — tanks, fleets, rivers, bespoke projects — the raw IoT Factory platform is there underneath.

What TITAN Does
IoT Factory builds Real Pulse. TITAN makes it work in your building — one Irish contact for the whole solution.
Survey
We look at the building — meters, boards, rooms, plant — and agree what phase one should measure.
Spec & Supply
The right sensor for each point, from any vendor, supplied and pre-configured from Galway before it ships.
Commission
Gateways up, sensors reporting, your building live on Real Pulse — dashboards, alerts and reports switched on.
Support
Irish support after go-live, and phased expansion — floor by floor, application by application — on results.
Deployed, Not Just Demoed
Public-Sector Energy Monitoring
Selected by an Irish public-sector organisation in competitive procurement: wireless energy monitoring reading the existing supply meter optically and sub-metering three-phase distribution — phase one live, designed to expand floor by floor on results.
The Cheapest First Step
A single CO₂ sensor in an older building answered the air-conditioning question with data before anyone spent money on plant — monitoring as the lowest-cost first step of any building upgrade.

Real Pulse Questions, Answered
What is Real Pulse?
Real Pulse is a building management platform developed by IoT Factory — ready-made dashboards, alerts and reports for a building’s energy, indoor air quality, water and occupancy, fed by wireless sensors. TITAN supplies, commissions and supports it in Ireland from Galway.
How is it different from a traditional BMS?
A traditional building management system is wired into the building — realistic in new builds or major refits, expensive everywhere else. Real Pulse is wireless: battery-powered sensors retrofit onto existing meters, distribution boards and rooms with no cabling, so any building — old or new — can be digitised in days, not months.
How is it different from IoT Factory?
Same engine, different job. IoT Factory is the open, do-anything IoT platform underneath. Real Pulse is that platform finished for buildings — the dashboards, alert logic and reports a building needs, already designed. For buildings, start with Real Pulse; for bespoke non-building monitoring, the raw IoT Factory platform is the tool.
Does it work in older buildings?
Yes — older buildings are where it earns most. Optical readers read the flashing LED on the existing supply meter, clamps fit around existing cables, pulse counters attach to existing gas and water meters, and room sensors stick where they’re needed. No rewiring, no property modifications.
Whose sensors does it use?
The platform integrates 700+ device types from many vendors over LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi and cellular — so the right sensor goes on each job. TITAN specs the mix, supplies the hardware pre-configured from Galway, and confirms compatibility during the survey.
Can we start small?
Yes — the pattern we recommend. Instrument the main board and supply meter first, prove where the waste is, then expand floor by floor and switch on air quality, water and occupancy when they earn their place — same gateways, same dashboard.
