The Poynting OMNI-296 is an outdoor omni-directional Wi-Fi antenna for yards, building sites, factories and campuses where an access point or router needs 360° coverage from a mast or wall. It covers 2.4 GHz and the full 4.9 to 7.2 GHz range used by Wi-Fi 6E, and also 3.3 to 4.2 GHz (5G n77 and n78).
Gain is 7 dBi at 2.4 GHz, 8 dBi at 3.5 GHz and 10 dBi in the 5 GHz band. The ABS housing resists acids and chemicals found on industrial sites, and Poynting rates it IP65 from −40 to +80 °C. It is a single-port (SISO) antenna: fit one per Wi-Fi port, so two for a 2×2 access point. The antenna has an N-type female bulkhead and no cable. Add an N-type to SMA cable and, for a router’s RP-SMA Wi-Fi port, an SMA to RP-SMA adapter from our connector adapters. Pole and wall bracket included.
