The Perseus Energy 285 is the top of HW Group’s Energy family: a DIN rail unit combining LAN and built-in LTE, made for plant rooms and distribution boards where energy metering, environmental monitoring and alerting all converge in one enclosure.
The M-Bus Master reads up to 100 heat, water and electricity meters; six 1-Wire UNI ports take temperature, humidity and current sensors; four S0-compliant pulse inputs count meter pulses to EN 62053-31 Class A; and a water-leak zone plus two 250 V relay outputs handle protection and control. The built-in LTE modem is the differentiator — it backs up the LAN connection to the SensDesk portal and acts as an SMS and voice-call alert gateway, so alarms still get out when the site network is down.
