The Ares 12 LTE is an industrial device for remote monitoring and alarming via GSM in areas without LAN access. This device can connect to up to 14 external sensors and 2 dry contact sensors and has a backup battery for up to 24 hours. The Ares 12 LTE monitors the results of the connected sensors and supports FOTA (Firmware over Air) for remote software updates.


If a value exceeds the defined limit, an alarm is sent via email or SMS or selected numbers are called. The measured data can be displayed in a complex dashboard via the portal.

Features for LTE projects

The Ares 12 LTE can connect to the Internet via LTE/GSM/GPRS networks. The data is sent via HWg-Push protocol to the public portal or the HWg-PDMS software. In addition, the data can be sent via email to PDMS, from where it is downloaded via the software to the POP3 mailbox or the secure POP3S variant.

The SensDesk IoT Portal provides a quick insight into current data via mobile phones and can display charts of values ‚Äč‚Äčfor up to 3 months. It is also possible to set up notifications.

The IoT PDMS software allows the user to collect all measured data and convert it into Excel format. The data can be automatically analyzed and the Excel files from PDMS can be used to document the environmental data for control points.

The Ares 12 LTE is ideal for outdoor and mobile IoT applications as it has a wide signal range with GSM and LTE. Switching between the BTS (base station – network cell) is automatic up to 180 km/h and without loss of communication.
