Warehouse Rugged Computers for Forklifts, Pickers and Cold Stores
Warehouse rugged computers for every truck and every picker: Winmate vehicle-mount computers and handhelds, set up for your Wi-Fi and SIMs in Galway so they work the day they arrive. The connectivity around them, from Wi-Fi to private 5G, and cold room monitoring come from the same supplier.
Pilot one forklift or one team, prove it with your own software, then roll out across the fleet.

What Is a Warehouse Rugged Computer?
A warehouse rugged computer is a vehicle-mount computer, handheld or tablet built for the warehouse floor: sealed against dust and water, tested for drops and vibration, and able to run from forklift power. It runs your warehouse management software, scans barcodes and connects over Wi-Fi or cellular. TITAN IoT supplies Winmate rugged computers prepared in Galway for your network.
Consumer tablets and phones struggle on the warehouse floor: vibration, cold stores, drops onto concrete and batteries that don’t last a shift. Rugged units are rated for it, model by model.

One Computer per Truck. One Handheld per Picker.
The fleet is where the numbers are. Every forklift and reach truck needs a screen the driver can read, and every picker needs a scanner that lasts the shift. Winmate builds both for the warehouse floor.
Runs from the truck
Vehicle computers take wide-range DC power from the truck, with ignition control on most models, so they start and stop with it.
One unit on a VESA mount
The FM-V is an all-in-one vehicle computer with its I/O built in. No separate dock to buy.
Built for full shifts
The TC605 handheld has a hot-swappable 5000 mAh battery and a 0° or 60° scan engine.
Identical setup, every unit
The configuration proven on the pilot is applied to every device before dispatch, with zero-touch enrolment on Android.

Works on Your Wi-Fi, With Your Software
Most warehouses already have Wi-Fi and a warehouse management system. The devices fit into both, and where the network falls short we fix the connectivity too.
Connectivity Through the Racking. Private 5G for Warehousing.
A rugged computer is only as good as its connection. Steel racking, cold-store walls and long aisles are where warehouse Wi-Fi drops out, and a scan that doesn’t send is a pick that stalls.
Wi-Fi where it works. Devices arrive set up for your existing network.
Cellular where it doesn’t. IoT SIMs and matched antennas for yards, loading bays, steel cabs and vans.
Private 5G for the whole site. The step up from Wi-Fi: a dedicated mobile network for the warehouse, with higher throughput, reliable coverage down the aisles and through the racking, and handover as trucks move. Built on the Druid core, with radios installed, configured and tested by TITAN.

On the network
Druid · TITAN
Private 5G Network
Your own 5G network on site, sized to the building. Covers the racking, cold stores and yard on one network, ready for 5G handhelds such as the Winmate TC605 5G model.

Robustel
EG5120 5G Edge Gateway
Processing and 5G in one box: Docker apps on Debian, serial and Modbus for older kit, dual SIM. On a private 5G site, it is the gateway beside the equipment.
Advantech
Industrial Switches
Advantech EKI switches for the cabinets office kit doesn’t survive: dock doors, cold stores, outbuildings and racking ends.
Backup link: an Advantech or Robustel industrial router keeps a gatehouse or vehicle online, or takes over if the main line drops · Internet backup
Watch the Cold Rooms Too
If the warehouse holds chilled or frozen stock, the same supplier can watch the temperatures. Two routes, chosen per site:
Wireless, over LoRaWAN. The ATIM Cold Rooms sensor and Milesight TS101 report without cabling, for spread-out sites and stores where running cable is impractical.
Wired, on the warehouse network. The HW Group STE2 LITE reads up to four 1-Wire probes over LAN or Wi-Fi. The probe it ships with covers chilled rooms, from -10 °C to +80 °C; freezers take the Temp-1Wire Pt100 probe, rated -50 °C to +200 °C. The Perseus Monitoring 145 steps up with its own 4G and inputs for doors, power and plant alarms.
Alerts are an early warning, not a guarantee against stock loss. Watching power across the building? See smart building & energy monitoring.

ATIM
Cold Rooms Sensor
Wireless temperature and humidity for cold rooms and chilled stock, over LoRaWAN with configurable alert thresholds.

Milesight
TS101 Insertion Probe
LoRaWAN temperature sensor with an insertion probe, for product and storage temperature where cabling is impractical.

HW Group
STE2 LITE Cold Room Monitor
On the warehouse LAN or Wi-Fi, reading up to four 1-Wire probes, with a Pt100 probe for freezers. SMS and email alerts through SensDesk.

HW Group
Perseus Monitoring 145
The step up for larger cold stores: more probes, Ethernet plus its own 4G, and digital and analog inputs that also watch doors, power and plant alarms.

Warehouse Rugged Computer Questions, Answered
What is a warehouse rugged computer?
A warehouse rugged computer is a vehicle-mount computer, handheld or tablet built for the warehouse floor: sealed against dust and water, tested for drops, shock and vibration, and able to run from forklift power. It runs your warehouse management software on Windows or Android, scans barcodes and connects over Wi-Fi or cellular. TITAN IoT supplies Winmate rugged computers, set up for your network before dispatch.
Do I need vehicle-mount computers or handhelds?
Most sites use both. Vehicle-mount computers such as the Winmate FM-V sit on forklifts and reach trucks, run from vehicle power and give drivers a larger screen for put-away and replenishment. Handhelds such as the Winmate TC605 go with pickers and goods-in teams, with a built-in scan engine and a hot-swappable battery for full shifts. Tablets suit supervisors. We help you split the fleet by task.
Will the devices work on our existing warehouse Wi-Fi?
Yes. Most warehouses already have Wi-Fi, and the devices are set up for your own network in Galway before they ship, with your Wi-Fi settings applied so they connect on arrival. Where Wi-Fi does not reach, such as yards, loading bays or delivery vehicles, cellular models take an IoT SIM, and we fit and test the SIM before dispatch.
Will Winmate devices run our warehouse management system?
Winmate offers Windows and Android across the range. Windows models suit existing Windows warehouse software and terminal emulation, and Android models suit modern warehouse and mobile apps, including the TC605 on Android 14. Tell us what your warehouse management system runs on and we will match the platform. A pilot unit lets your team prove it with your own software before any rollout.
What about signal in yards, cold stores and steel cabs?
Wi-Fi often drops in yards, behind racking and inside cold stores, and a steel forklift cab weakens any signal. For cellular devices we supply IoT SIMs, and for vehicles and buildings we match external antennas to the cab or the site. For a whole site, private 5G with the Druid core gives coverage through the racking, and an Advantech or Robustel router keeps a gatehouse or vehicle online.
Can you monitor cold room and freezer temperatures too?
Yes. LoRaWAN sensors such as the ATIM Cold Rooms sensor and Milesight TS101 report wirelessly, with no cabling. On the warehouse network, the HW Group STE2 LITE and Perseus Monitoring 145 read wired probes and send SMS or email alerts, with a Pt100 probe rated to -50 °C for freezers. Alerts are an early warning, not a guarantee against stock loss, so they sit alongside your own procedures.
Is private 5G an option for a warehouse?
Yes. Private 5G is the step up from Wi-Fi: a dedicated mobile network for the warehouse, with higher throughput and reliable coverage through steel racking and cold stores. TITAN delivers it on the Druid core, with radios installed, configured and tested on site. The Winmate TC605 comes in a 5G model, and we confirm band support for each device before supply.
Can we pilot one vehicle or one team before rolling out?
Yes, and we recommend it. Start with one forklift or one picking team, prove the devices with your own software on your own site, then roll out across the fleet. We prepare and bench-test the pilot unit in Galway before it ships, so the trial tests the job rather than the setup. Terms for pilot units are flexible, so ask us.
Prove It on One Truck, Then Roll It Out
Tell us about your trucks, your pickers, your software and your cold rooms. We’ll spec the devices and prepare a pilot in Galway.
