The Poynting UDAS-1 solves a common side effect of an outdoor antenna: once a router’s ports go to an antenna on the roof, the room or vehicle it sits in can lose signal for phones and Wi-Fi devices. Fitted in the cable run between the router and the outdoor antenna, the UDAS-1 leaks a small share of the signal into the enclosed space while most of the power still goes to and from the outdoor antenna.
It is a cross-polarised 2×2 MIMO leaky feeder covering 5G and LTE bands from 600 MHz to 6 GHz, including 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, with an omni pattern to cover the space evenly. The ABS housing has a UV stabiliser and resists acids and chemicals; Poynting rates it IP65 and fire resistant, −40 to +70 °C.
Typical uses are plant rooms and steel buildings, buses, trains and public-safety vehicles. It has SMA (m) connectors on short 0.2 m RG-58 leads; tell us the router, the outdoor antenna and the cable run and we’ll confirm the cabling, using our SMA extension cables or connector adapters where needed.
Order code
| Model | Bands | MIMO | Connector | Order code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UDAS-1 | 600–6000 MHz (5G/LTE, Wi-Fi) | 2×2, cross-polarised | SMA (m), 0.2 m RG-58, grey | A-UDAS-0001-V1-01 |
Tell us the antenna, the router and the run and we’ll confirm the right part. Ask us to spec it, or read how to choose a 4G or 5G antenna.
