Antenna FAQs
How do I know which antenna fits my router?
Match the bands and connectors first, then the pattern and gain. We stock Panorama antennas designed specifically for Robustel routers, and we’ll confirm the right pairing for any router we supply — just ask.
What’s the difference between omni and directional antennas?
Omni antennas radiate in all directions and suit moving assets or multi-cell areas. Directional antennas focus gain toward one mast, which is the answer when a fixed site sits at the edge of coverage.
Do I need a MIMO antenna for 5G?
For best throughput, yes — modern 4G and 5G routers use multiple antenna ports, and a matching 2×2 or 4×4 MIMO antenna lets them perform as designed. Check your router’s port count before choosing.
Are these antennas suitable for outdoor Irish conditions?
The Poynting and Panorama ranges include IP68 and IK10-rated parts built for rain, salt, vibration and UV — field-proven across marine, agricultural and utility sites in Ireland and the UK.
