The Adeunis Field Test Device (FTD) checks LoRaWAN coverage on site before and during a deployment. Walk it to each planned sensor location and it shows whether the gateway or public network can hear it, so gateways and sensors go in the right place the first time.
The FTD sends test frames periodically or on a button press and displays uplink and downlink results, channel, RSSI, SNR, packet error rate, GPS position and temperature on its backlit screen. It joins any LoRaWAN network (OTAA or ABP, AES-128), stores up to 100 measurements for download over USB, and can emulate a sensor with a PCB antenna to give a realistic reading. It is rechargeable and configured with the Adeunis IoT Configurator.
Use it alongside a Siretta SNYPER survey tool to confirm 4G backhaul at the gateway position.
