A·TRACS is ATEL’s enterprise cloud platform for managing fleets of trackers, routers, and IoT devices. Hosted on Amazon Web Services and accessed via web portal, mobile app, or REST API, A·TRACS provides device management, firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates, geo-fence administration, statistics, and event-driven alerts — without forcing customers to build a platform from scratch.

Two portals — choose the right tier

A·TRACS comes in two flavours, designed for different organisational scale:

  • A.RMS — ATEL Remote Management System (arms.a-tracs.com). The enterprise platform: device management, FOTA, subscription and notification, statistics, multi-user role-based access. Built for organisations with technical operations teams managing large device fleets.
  • A.AGS — ATEL Application Gateway Server (aags.a-tracs.com). The small business and operations platform: per-device category dashboards, configuration templates, alerts, operations, statistics, user management, and a companion iOS/Android mobile app. Built for end-users and project teams who need a working dashboard from day one.

Two deployment paths

A·TRACS doesn’t lock you in. From the day a device is provisioned, you have two routes:

  • Managed cloud — devices report to A·TRACS, you log in to the portal, your operations team uses the dashboard, mobile app, and alerts. Telemetry stays in A·TRACS storage.
  • Direct integration — devices report telemetry directly to your own server (TCP, UDP, MQTT, FTP, or REST), bypassing A·TRACS storage. You still use A·TRACS for device management and FOTA. Your platform owns the operational data.

Many TITAN customers start on the managed cloud to get a project running quickly, then graduate to direct integration once their own platform is ready. A·TRACS supports either path — and the switch between them is a configuration change, not a re-deployment.

A·TRACS is a paid platform. Project setup, device provisioning, custom configuration templates, and integration with your existing systems are scoped per project.
