The Complete Stack

What “Connect It” actually means.

Reliable industrial connectivity is more than a router in a box. TITAN’s Connect It stack is five components working together — each one selected, configured and supported as part of the same system.

1

Industrial cellular hardware

4G/5G routers and edge gateways from Robustel, Digi and Advantech. Built for temperature extremes, vibration, wide-voltage inputs and DIN-rail, wall or vehicle mounting. Selected to fit the deployment, not the price list.

2

Signal-matched antennas & RF

Poynting and Panorama antennas chosen against the site’s signal environment, carrier bands and mounting constraints. Outdoor, vehicle, marine, MIMO, IP69K — the right antenna paired with the right router and cable lengths.

3

Connectivity & data plans

Multi-network IoT SIMs across Vodafone, Three, Eir and roaming European networks — from €2/month. TITAN Smart VPN for secure inbound access on any SIM or broadband connection.

4

Pre-configuration & cloud management

Every device leaves Galway with your VPN profiles, APN settings, firewall rules and cloud enrolment applied. Robustel RCMS gives you fleet-wide visibility, OTA updates and remote diagnostics — at no extra cost.

5

Lifecycle support

Direct phone and email to Galway-based engineers — the same people who configured your equipment. Firmware questions, antenna tuning, SIM replacements, fleet expansion. Not a ticket queue.

Why Through TITAN

What you get when TITAN configures the stack.

Going direct to a manufacturer means dealing with hardware boxes. Going through TITAN means dealing with a deployable solution. The difference shows up on day one of the install.

01

We Listen

You tell us the site, the application, the carrier bands, the regulatory environment. We translate that into a hardware spec — router, antenna, SIM, mounting, certifications.

02

We Design

Signal survey if needed. Antenna matched to install environment and carrier bands. SIM bundle sized to your data profile. VPN and cloud enrolment architected to your security policy.

03

We Configure & Ship

Every device pre-configured in Galway, tested on the bench, labelled per-site, and shipped ready to deploy. Ireland next working day, UK and EU via tracked courier.

04

We Support

Direct phone and email to the engineer who configured your equipment. Firmware updates, antenna tuning, fleet expansion — we stay involved for the full lifecycle.

Frequently Asked

Connect It — common questions.

Do I have to buy through TITAN or can I order direct from Robustel/Poynting?

Both are possible, but you’ll get different things. Direct from the manufacturer you get hardware shipped from China or South Africa, in default configuration, with no antenna matching or SIM bundle, and warranty support through the OEM. Through TITAN you get pre-configured units, signal-matched antennas, Irish-bundled SIMs, Galway-based support, and the option of volume pricing through Vadnet.

What’s included with the “pre-configuration” service?

By default we apply VPN profiles, APN settings for your chosen SIM, firewall rules, password changes from manufacturer defaults, and RCMS cloud enrolment so the device is visible to your fleet dashboard the moment it powers on. We can also apply firmware updates, custom routing rules, port forwarding and Robustel App Center applications on request. Configuration is included in the unit price — there’s no separate config fee.

How does TITAN match antennas to sites?

We ask about the carrier bands you need, the mounting environment (indoor, outdoor, vehicle, marine), the cellular signal strength at the site, and the distance between router and antenna. From that we recommend a specific Poynting or Panorama model and supply the right RF cables to suit the installation. If a site is RF-difficult, we can run a cellular survey first using Siretta tools.

What does RCMS actually do?

RCMS is Robustel’s cloud platform for managing fleets of Robustel devices. It gives you live signal strength, network type and data usage per device, over-the-air firmware and config updates, inbound VPN access (RobustVPN), a fleet map view, SMS remote control and alert notifications. The standard tier is free for every Robustel device — competitors typically charge a monthly per-device fee for equivalent functionality.

What about 5G — is it ready for industrial use?

Yes, for the right applications. The Robustel R5010 and R5020 are 5G Release 16 routers suitable for high-throughput multi-site networks, vehicle connectivity and digital signage where 4G bandwidth would be a constraint. For most industrial IoT applications — SCADA, telemetry, asset tracking — 4G CAT-4 or NB-IoT is still the right answer and will be for years. We’ll advise on what’s appropriate for your specific deployment.

What’s the delivery lead time?

For stocked items pre-configured in Galway: next working day across Ireland, two to three days for the UK and EU. For volume or project orders requiring batch configuration, lead times are quoted per project — typically one to two weeks for a hundred-unit batch. For special-order items or out-of-stock SKUs, lead times depend on the manufacturer’s production schedule and we’ll quote those specifically.
