The Milesight WT102 is a LoRaWAN radiator valve that needs no batteries. It harvests power from the difference between the radiator and the room (Milesight states this starts when the water is above 45 °C), which removes the battery round that makes valve projects in large buildings costly to run.
Why pick it
- Maintenance-free power, with a USB-C port as backup.
- Up to 16 heating plans, open-window detection, freeze protection and a child lock for public areas.
- Reads the room through an external NTC probe or pairs with the Milesight WT401 wall thermostat.
Fits M30 x 1.5 valves as standard, with adapters for RA, RAV, RAVL, Giacomini and M28 bodies.
The battery-powered alternative is the Milesight WT101.
Works with any standard LoRaWAN gateway and network server, such as the Milesight UG65 indoors or the UG67 outdoors, with alerts and dashboards on IoT Factory.
