The HW Group WLD-Location Cable L detects water, glycol or other conductive liquid and reports how far along the cable the leak is. Standard sensing cables tell you there is liquid somewhere in the zone; Cable L tells you where, which matters under raised floors, above ceilings and along long pipe runs where the wet spot is hard to find.
- Locates to ±4% (±0.4 m per 10 m), with the position found in 15–30 seconds.
- Up to 100 m per zone, built from 10 m and 50 m sections that snap together, with a 4-pin terminator at the end.
- Made for cooling and plant. Suited to data centre raised floors, liquid-cooling CDUs and manifolds, glycol circuits, HVAC and plant rooms.
The cable connects to the green 4-pin WLD-L port on the Perseus Industrial 310 or 315 through the 5 m WLD-Connecting cable L, which is the zero point for distance. It cannot be extended with non-sensing cable. Reliable detection needs at least 3 mm of liquid and 15 mm of cable in contact; keep bends above a 25 mm radius and fix the cable with WLD Poro Tape.
