The ATEL AS35 is a battery-powered LTE Cat-M1 tracker designed for trailers, unpowered fleet assets, lot inventory, and vehicle recovery deployments. With a 15,000 mAh non-rechargeable battery rated for 5,000+ reports — equivalent to 7+ years at one report per day — and an ultra-thin form factor for concealed installation, the AS35 fits projects where wired power isn’t available and replacement access is rare.

Built for trailers and unpowered fleet

Reefer trailers, flatbeds, plant equipment, and rental fleets often spend long stretches disconnected from a power source. The AS35’s primary cell battery delivers years of autonomous operation without recharge, and the ultra-thin enclosure allows discreet installation. Fit-and-forget: no recharge access required, no battery swap planned within the operational life of the deployment.

Vehicle financing and theft recovery applications

A built-in 3-axis accelerometer enables motion detection, harsh-braking events, and excessive-idling alerts. Configurable event triggers handle vehicle towing, battery removal, geo-fence violations, and tamper conditions — feeding into asset finance, rental, and stolen vehicle recovery operations. Up to 16 geo-fences (polygon or circle) trigger immediate notifications.

Configurable to your project

Pre-configured application software, an extended AT command set, and over-the-air firmware updates let the AS35 be tuned without specialist programming. Reports can be triggered periodically or on motion, speeding, harsh acceleration/braking, geo-fence violations, and battery status. For project-specific requirements — custom server endpoints, bespoke reporting protocols, or non-standard event triggers — TITAN works directly with ATEL to spec custom firmware for your deployment.

Managed by A·TRACS or integrated direct

A·TRACS is ATEL’s enterprise cloud platform, offering device management, firmware-over-the-air (FOTA), geo-fence administration, and event notifications via the A.RMS portal. Devices can report to A·TRACS, to your own platform via REST API, or to both — giving you a managed-cloud starting point with a clear path to direct integration as your deployment scales.
