The Poynting GPS-1 is a standalone active GNSS antenna for routers, trackers and controllers that need position or timing but have a cellular antenna without a GPS element. It suits buses, utility and public-safety vehicles, farm and mining machinery, small boats, and fixed sites that use GNSS for clock and timing.
It receives GPS and GLONASS (1575.42 and 1602 MHz) with 20 ±3 dBi active gain, circular polarisation and an omni pattern. It uses the same PUCK enclosure as Poynting’s PUCK antennas, rated IP69K and IK10, fire resistant, from −40 to +80 °C, with an external seal on the V3 housing.
It comes with 2 m of RTK-031 cable terminated SMA (m), for a router GNSS port such as the one on the Teltonika RUT956. For a longer run, add an SMA extension cable. Mounting options cover pole, wall, panel, spigot, adhesive and magnetic base.
