The HW Group WLD-ECHO is a compact, standalone water leak detector for sites that need a dependable local alarm and a clean contact into an existing system. It takes two sensing-cable zones, each up to 185 m, and a few drops of water or other conductive liquid anywhere along the cable trigger the alarm.
- Works on its own. Built-in sounder and visual alarm, LED status for OK, leak and cable fault, plus a low-battery warning.
- Wires into anything. One latching dry-contact relay output (24 V DC / 500 mA) connects to an intruder alarm panel, a BMS or a monitoring unit’s digital input.
- Power where it suits. Two AA alkaline batteries (2–3 years) or a 12 V DC supply.
It also reports a disconnected or damaged sensing cable, and zone 2 can be switched off when not in use. Pair it with HW Group WLD sensing cable A or B, the WLD connecting cable, and Poro Tape or a cover strip for installation. For networked alerts and logging, take the relay into a monitoring unit such as the Perseus Monitoring 145.
