Robustel R1320LGe LoRaWAN Gateway for Ireland
The Robustel R1320LGe is a compact industrial LoRaWAN gateway built for reliable packet forwarding at scale. As the official Irish distributor for Robustel, TITAN IoT supplies the R1320LGe to engineers, IT teams and integrators across Ireland who need a low-cost, easy-to-deploy gateway that aggregates LoRaWAN sensor traffic and forwards it to any compatible LNS. It supports EU868 for Ireland alongside AU915, US915 and AS923 frequency plans, with 4G LTE Cat-4, Ethernet (with PoE-PD), and Wi-Fi backhaul options.
IRISH APPLICATIONS
The R1320LGe suits Irish deployments where many low-power sensors need to be aggregated cost-effectively:
- Smart utilities and metering — water, gas, heat and energy meters across residential blocks and commercial districts
- Smart city and municipal IoT — streetlight control, flood sensors, waste-level monitors and parking nodes
- Smart building management — elevator plant rooms, pump rooms, fire system monitoring, energy sub-metering
- Agriculture and environmental monitoring — soil, weather and water-quality sensors across Irish farms
- Projects where cellular backhaul is needed on Vodafone, Three and Eir
LNS COMPATIBILITY
The R1320LGe forwards LoRaWAN node data via standard packet forwarding protocols to any compatible LNS — ChirpStack, The Things Network, LORIOT, Actility or a private network server — without gateway-side reconfiguration.
FREE RCMS CLOUD MANAGEMENT
The R1320LGe is RCMS ready, giving Irish customers free centralised cloud-based monitoring, remote diagnostics, configuration and firmware management across a deployed fleet, with no recurring fees.
ROBUSTOS LINUX PLATFORM
The R1320LGe runs on RobustOS, Robustel’s Linux-based operating system with packet forwarding capabilities and full C/C++ SDK support.
FLEXIBLE BACKHAUL — 4G, ETHERNET AND PoE-PD
Three backhaul options adapt to whatever infrastructure is available at the site: 4G LTE Cat-4 where wired infrastructure isn’t accessible, Fast Ethernet directly to an existing LAN, and PoE-PD (802.3at) on ETH0 to draw power from a PoE switch — useful in comms rooms, distribution cabinets and riser spaces with limited power outlets. Dual SIM support (one MFF2 eSIM + one Mini SIM 2FF) simplifies cellular provisioning across multi-site deployments.
RECOMMENDED ANTENNAS
For better performance and easier project specification, pair the R1320LGe with:
- Poynting PUCK-2 — cellular antenna ideal for panel or cabinet installations
- Poynting XPOL-2 — cellular antenna for challenging signal environments
- A dedicated 868 MHz LoRa antenna for the EU868 LoRa interface
