The Poynting OMNI-494 is a marine 4×4 MIMO Wi-Fi omni antenna for vessels, marinas and coastal sites that run Wi-Fi 6, 6E or 7 access points, or private 5G on bands n77 and n78. It is Poynting’s cross-polarised marine Wi-Fi mast: two high-gain vertical elements and two horizontal elements in one radome, so a 4-port access point gets polarisation diversity from a single mount.
It covers 2.4 GHz, 3.3–4.2 GHz and 4.9–7.2 GHz. Gain is 9.8 dBi on the vertical elements and 4.5 dBi on the horizontal. The radome is UV-stable ASA, foam filled and salt spray protected, rated IP68 and −40 °C to +80 °C, on a marine, pole or wall mount.
It comes with twin 2 m HDF-195 cables on SMA male connectors, with RP-SMA adaptors for Wi-Fi ports. For one Wi-Fi port, use the OMNI-496. Pair it with the OMNI-414 for 4×4 5G cellular on the same vessel.
