The Perseus Energy 240 is the entry point to HW Group’s Perseus platform: a LAN gateway that takes existing wired RS-485 Modbus RTU sensors and meters and brings them onto the SensDesk portal for dashboards, alerts and reporting. Up to 100 meters and 1,000 values can be read through its Modbus RTU port and the Meters API over the network.
It also earns its keep as a pure protocol converter — Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP, MQTT, SNMP or BACnet — feeding existing SCADA and building management systems while simultaneously reporting to the portal. Local conditions, scheduling and Lua scripting run analysis on the device itself, with email alerts sent directly.
