The Panorama GPSK-TET puts a TETRA whip and an active GPS/GNSS antenna on one base, for public safety, utility and security vehicles carrying a TETRA radio. Panorama reports it in use on regional ambulances in Madrid.
The vertical whip covers 380 to 430 MHz at 2 dBi and handles up to 25 W. The GNSS element covers 1559 to 1612 MHz with a 30 dB LNA. It fits through a single 15 mm hole in a roof up to 6 mm thick (an extender kit suits thicker panels) and Panorama rates it IP65.
Ireland’s emergency services run voice on the national TETRA network (MNDRS), contracted to at least 2029, while data moves to 4G and 5G.
The base GPSK-TET has 0.3 m tails, FME (m) for TETRA and FME (f) for GPS. The kit versions come with longer cables and the connectors different TETRA terminals use, so the antenna plugs straight in. It carries no 4G: to add 4G/5G and Wi-Fi on the same mount, a UHF whip on a Sharkee base (GPSD-6-60 or GPSD-7-27) does both jobs. More on vehicle connectivity on our Transport & Fleet page.
