The Kerlink 80 Wp Solar Kit powers a Wirnet iStation M2 gateway where there is no mains supply: reservoirs, pumping stations, river gauges, farms and forestry sites. Kerlink designed it for the M2’s low power draw and states up to 10 days of autonomy without sun.
The kit combines an 80 Wp panel with a 12.8 V 50 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery in an IP66 steel enclosure, a charge controller with RS485, a lockable 5 m waterproof DC cable and an aluminium mast mounting kit. Kerlink offers a 30 Wp version for sunnier regions; the 80 Wp version is the one rated for northern latitudes such as Ireland. Installation takes about 30 minutes for two people.
