The Kerlink Wirnet iStation M2 is Kerlink’s new-generation outdoor LoRaWAN gateway, for utility, council and farm networks where the gateway sits on a mast or roof and has to stay up for years. It draws under 1.8 W in typical use, so it can run off-grid from Kerlink’s solar kit at reservoirs, pumping stations and remote sites.
The M2 uses the Semtech SX1302 radio core (SF5–SF12), an i.MX8X Lite processor with 1 GB RAM for edge applications, and offers 4G, Ethernet and Wi-Fi backhaul in one IP67 unit. Waterproof connectors mean the casing stays closed on site, and zero-touch provisioning brings it online without radio expertise. It works with the main LoRaWAN network servers, including ChirpStack, The Things Stack, Actility and Loriot.
Pair it with a Poynting or Panorama LoRa antenna and, for unpowered sites, the 80 Wp solar kit. Supplied and staged by TITAN in Galway.
Datasheet available on request. The M2 is new in Kerlink’s range: ask us about availability.
