The host hardware.
Every HW Group monitoring deployment starts with one of these. Ethernet boxes for single rooms, cellular units for sites without a LAN, rack-mount platforms for whole facilities. All speak SNMP, all report to SensDesk, all run for years without intervention.
Perseus Monitoring 150
1U rack-mount data centre platform. 8× RJ11 sensor ports, 16× digital inputs, dual power, multi-tenant dashboards. Built for the racks where downtime isn’t an option.

Calibrated probes for temperature, humidity, CO2, leak detection and cryo monitoring. 1-Wire and RJ11 for the HW Group host devices. Modbus RTU for industrial integration. Plus a standalone cellular sensor for sites where running a host device would be overkill.
HTemp HomeBox
The everyday indoor temperature and humidity probe. RJ11 1-Wire connection to any STE2, Ares or Perseus device. Calibrated, daisy-chainable, low maintenance.

Temp-1Wire Pt100
Platinum Pt100 probe with 3m cable for sub-zero monitoring — pharma freezers, cold-chain stores, cryo storage and laboratory ULT units. Calibrated, accuracy-rated, GMP-suitable.

SD-2x1Wire SensDesk Sensor
Battery-powered cellular standalone sensor. NB-IoT or LTE-M, 1-Wire-UNI input, reports temperature and humidity directly to SensDesk. For single-point monitoring where a host device would be overkill.

Every HW Group device — from a single STE2 thermometer to a hundred-rack Perseus deployment — reports into SensDesk by default. HWg-cloud.com is the free tier: web dashboards, mobile apps for iOS and Android, email and SMS alerting, historical graphs and an open HTTP API.
For multi-tenant MSPs and very large estates, the premium Perseus management software extends it with role-based access, automated escalation paths and unlimited sensor channels.
Critically, SensDesk is optional. Every HW Group device runs standalone — local web interface, SNMP traps and direct email alerts — so the monitoring loop is intact even when the WAN is down. SensDesk is the convenient overlay, not the lifeline.
iOS & Android Apps
Live dashboards on the move. Push notifications for threshold breaches and device-offline events. No need to be at a desk to act.
Multi-Tenant Dashboards
Separate dashboards per customer, per site or per facility. Designed for service providers managing multiple client deployments from one interface.
Open HTTP API
REST API for pushing data into your existing BMS, NMS or cloud platform. JSON output, simple authentication, well-documented. TITAN handles the integration work.
Free Forever
No per-sensor licensing, no expiry, no upsell trap. Every HW Group device customer gets full HWg-cloud.com access included with the hardware.
Where TITAN deploys HW Group in Ireland.
From Galway pharma cleanrooms to Dublin data centres, from Munster water treatment plants to Cork cold-storage warehouses — HW Group sensors are the quiet, dependable layer behind a lot of Irish infrastructure.

HW Group hardware. Galway support. One number to call.
Going direct to Prague gets you a box. Going through TITAN gets you a deployable monitoring system — specified for your site, pre-configured against your alert thresholds, and supported by engineers who actually answer the phone.
Pre-Configured in Galway
SensDesk enrolment, alert thresholds, SNMP credentials and IP settings applied before dispatch. Power-on, plug in the sensors, monitor.
Sensor Specification Service
Pt100 vs 1-Wire, CO2 vs VOC, Ethernet vs LTE — we spec the right sensor against your application, environment and reporting frequency. Not a parts catalogue dump.
Long-Term Lifecycle Match
HW Group products run 5–15 years. So does TITAN’s commitment — firmware updates, sensor replacements, fleet expansion. Same engineers across the lifecycle.
Irish & European Support
Direct phone and email to Galway. Project support for Ireland, the UK and Europe via the Vadnet IoT distributor alliance. No timezone gap to Prague.
Pre-Integrated Connectivity
Ares LTE units shipped with TITAN-managed IoT SIMs from €2/month. Sensors, device, SIM and portal — one supplier, one bill, one phone number.
Open API & Integration
HW Group’s open API lets you push data into your existing BMS, NMS or cloud platform. TITAN handles the integration work — Modbus to MQTT, SNMP to dashboard, whatever it takes.
HW Group — common questions.
Do I need the SensDesk portal to use HW Group devices?
No. Every HW Group device works standalone — local web interface for configuration, email and SNMP for alerting, optional SMS via a separate gateway. The portal (HWg-cloud.com, free) adds remote dashboards, mobile access and historical graphs, but it isn’t required. The premium Perseus management software is for large multi-site deployments.
What’s the difference between STE2 and Perseus?
STE2 is the small box you put in a single room or cabinet — 4 sensors, WiFi or Ethernet, under €200. Perseus is the rack-mount platform for data centres — up to 1000 sensor variables, redundant power, multi-tenant management. STE2 is “one location”; Perseus is “the whole facility”. Most TITAN deployments use both, with STE2 at the edges feeding into Perseus at the core.
Can it run without internet?
Yes. HW Group devices alert via local SNMP traps, internal email relay or contact-closure outputs — none of which need a cloud connection. The portal is optional. This matters for utility, water, defence and pharma deployments where the monitoring loop has to be airtight even if the WAN drops.
Does HW Group support Modbus, SNMP and MQTT?
SNMP v2c and v3 are native on all devices. Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP are supported on the HTemp-485 probes and most Ares and Perseus devices. MQTT is supported on the newer Perseus platform and selected NB-IoT units. HW Group also publishes an open HTTP API for integration into custom dashboards.
What does pre-configuration through TITAN actually include?
SensDesk enrolment, IP settings, SNMP community strings or v3 credentials, email alert configuration, sensor names and threshold values, and a basic alert routing setup. We can also apply custom firmware versions, integration with your specific portal (HWg-cloud or Perseus), and bench-test against your sensors before dispatch. No separate configuration fee — included in the unit price.
How long do HW Group products actually last?
The manufacturer publishes a 5–15 year design life. In practice, TITAN has HW Group devices in service at Irish sites that were installed in 2010 and 2011 and are still under monitoring contracts. The hardware doesn’t fail unless physically damaged — most replacements over a decade are firmware refreshes or sensor recalibration, not device failures.
